Chrome extension · version 0.4.4
Kapture is a Chrome extension that screenshots a complete webpage, scrolling the whole document, not only the visible viewport. Save it as PNG, JPEG or PDF, straight to your Downloads folder.
Requires Chrome 120 or later. Screenshots never leave your device. Dedicated Mac app coming soon.
Two ways to capture
Kapture scrolls the main document and captures it end to end, splitting very long pages into 8,000 pixel sections so the files stay usable.
Drag over the visible page to grab one region. Choose Freeform, 1:1, 16:9 or 9:16, then move or resize the selection before you capture.
What you get
Pick the format before you capture. PDF produces one local, multi‑page file.
Capture at your current window, or render the page at Phone 390, Tablet 820, Desktop 1440 or Desktop 1920 first.
Send captures straight to Downloads, or name a folder per page or project to keep them organised.
Newest first, with the site and time. Open a screenshot, or select entries and delete the files for good.
The side panel has both themes, and remembers the one you chose.
No account, no ads, no analytics. Install it and capture.
How it works
Go to whatever you want to keep.
The side panel opens beside the page.
Choose full page or an area, then save.
Privacy
Kapture processes the page on your computer and saves the file through Chrome's own Downloads system. Screenshots, webpage content, URLs and history are not sent to the developer or to any third party, and Kapture contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
